K1-K2

In our Toddlers class (K1 & K2) they begin more structured activities and daily routine, such as circle time and activities that foster their fine motor and gross motor skills, as well as their cognitive development.

During these times, teachers will go over colors, numbers, the alphabet, the weather, the days of the week, and the months of the year. Children are introduced to their new language and culture through play, individual and group interactions, and age-appropriate activities that capture and hold their attention.

We teach our students about topics that are important in daily life.

Our main goal is to make them the most independent and have a early development of self-esteem.

We teach them values such as:

  • How to be a friend
  • Share with others
  • Decision making
  • Self-help skills such as self-feeding, we encourage potty training, get ready for bed, cleaning hands, put on clothes, and prepare for preschool.
  • We also teach Spanish and basic sign language commands to enhance our ability to communicate and provide care.

Little Jan is highly interactive and has multicultural activities such as dance presentations to show the family in our unique stage!

Dancing and performing helps children be more comfortable socially, be more confident, increase fitness, listening, memorization, improve posture and range motion and to have fun.

Our Weekly Orlando Enrichment Classes

Our students have the opportunity to do activities such as yoga, gardening, physical education on a weekly basis.

  • Dual Language Immersion Program

English and Spanish are seamlessly integrated into every aspect of the curriculum, ensuring that literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development flourish in both languages. ASL, a visual and tactile language, adds a unique layer to communication, promoting a sense of unity and understanding.

  • Physical Education

Physical education is introduced from infants and up to promote gross motor skills with a variety of games to exercise their muscles while playing

  • Yoga

Little Jan Yoga class can help counter the stress experienced by little ones living in a hurry-up world.

When children learn techniques for self-health, relaxation, and inner fulfillment, they can navigate life's challenges more easily.

Children derive enormous benefits from yoga. Physically, it enhances their flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improve. Doing yoga, children exercise, play, connect more deeply with the inner self, and develop an intimate relationship with the natural world surrounding them. Yoga brings that marvelous inner light that all children have to the surface.

  • Gardening

Gardening develops motor control and also work larger muscle. We can discover color recognition, fragrances, and food taste.

We also learn life skills, faith, confidence, patience, commitment, independence, and more during our gardening learning process.
